Perception Software Engineer
Perception Software Engineer Agoura Hills, CA. Design and develop software related to perception algorithms for autonomous/assisted driving systems. Perform general and target-specific code optimization for perception algorithms. Perform software integration, prototyping, field testing, and system configuration. Develop and run benchmark and regression tests and analyze the results. Create simulation framework and visualization tools for the perception algorithms. Collaborate and work with algorithm experts in perception, situational awareness, and platform control. Support internal and external customers, world-wide. Requires a Master of Science in Engineering (any field) and two years of experience with the development of object tracking (multi-sensor multi-target tracking) algorithms (including linear/non-linear estimation and filtering, sensor fusion, and data association schemes) developing situational awareness algorithms including road geometry modeling, target selection, and threat assessment, and developing vehicle state estimation algorithms for accurate estimation of yaw-rate and speed, programming in C/C++/Python.
