Paid Media Analyst
The Wehco Digital Solutions team is searching for a highly motivated digital strategist with heavy focus on managing search engine marketing (SEM) and targeted display adverting campaigns. This position is accountable for the execution, maintenance, and reporting of all digital marketing products related to search engine marketing (SEM), programmatic bidding, and analytics. Included but not limited to managing and optimizing existing PPC and audience extension components, copy creation, and data analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Planning, strategic development and tactical execution of all paid campaigns including PPC, audience extension display, retargeting and other programs.
- Manage and optimize PPC campaign components including, but not limited to – Ad Copy, Bid Prices, Click through Rate, Cost per Conversion, Cost per Click, Keyword research.
- Manage and optimize audience extension/retargeting components including, but not limited to – Bid management, audience segments, Click through Rate, Cost per Conversion, pacing.
- Liaise with local advertising and digital teams to create strategic marketing messages and to establish budget and goals of the advertiser.
- Ownership of campaign optimization and budget allocation. Track and understand key digital marketing metrics, analyze campaign performance, and optimize based on insights to increase conversions.
- Measurement and optimization of campaigns will be required on a regular and ongoing basis.
- Generate insightful reporting based on established metrics for success.
- Assists in producing training materials used for on-boarding new customers and team members.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure success of advertiser campaigns and the overall success of the Digital Services team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Experience working in client-facing advertising fulfillment role as it relates to paid search and audience extension/retargeting. A strong understanding of copy-writing, market research, analyzing data, conversion tracking/optimization, a/b testing, and client strategy is also required. Incumbent/Candidate must have a proven track record of managing tasks from start to finish and the ability to think strategically, with exceptional attention to detail. A creative mindset is crucial. Solid business and/or experience in a sales environment helpful.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
The incumbent/candidate must have a detailed work ethic, be highly motivated, well organized and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individual customers, as well as all levels of employees, including management. Requires expert knowledge of products, tools and reports. Incumbent/Candidate must have solid time management skills and solid written/oral communication skills. Computer skills are required for this position including proficiency with the internet, MS Word, MS Excel. Experience with paid search programs, like Google Adwords, Bing Ads, as well as Google Analytics and principles of SEO copywriting is required. An understanding of programmatic ad buying and ad operation technologies such as demand side platforms and ad servers is desirable.
