Assistant Clinical Professor - Public & Allied Health - Medical Laboratory Science
BGSU Medical Laboratory Science (MLS)
Program: Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Public and Allied Health, Bowling Green State University. Full-time, qualified-rank, nine-month renewable appointment available August 2020.
Responsibilities: Teach MLS courses based on the needs of the program, which may include clinical microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, immunohematology, hematology or related courses; program/curriculum development; student advising/recruitment; support accreditation/compliance; other job-related tasks as needed.
Minimum qualifications: Master of Science in a health and human services discipline; teaching experience in a NAACLS accredited MLS Program, five years of work experience in the clinical laboratory; current MLS/MT ASCP-BOC certification. Preferred qualifications: laboratory management/activity development experience, current clinical experience in the clinical laboratory.
