The Burke County Board of Education Early Head Start program is accepting applications for the following job openings to be filled immediately.
- Substitute Caregiver: High School diploma accepted; Early Childhood Education Diploma preferred. Position covers the duties in the classroom on an as needed basis whenever the caregiver is absent.
- Health/Safety/Disabilities Manager: a Baccalaureate degree preferred or having credentials in public health, social services or related field along with documented experience and is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating comprehensive health/dental, and environmental safety for the children, their families enrolled in Burke County Early Head Start.
- Early Childhood Education Coordinator: Masters Degree in early childhood education required. The position oversees and directs the planning, organizing, and implementation of education services for children in the program under the direction of the program director.
