Some typical Accounting Business Manager duties include:
- Responsible for all aspects of accounting and financial analysis to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the Agency’s financial status
- Manage all accounting functions including, but not limited to, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and filing of all appropriate federal and state taxes
- Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting and/or payroll
- Provide analysis of cash flow, operating costs and variances
- Reviews financial statements with management personnel
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Ensure that cash flows are adequate to allow business to operate effectively
- Ensure that accounts receivable is billed and collected in a timely manner
Desired Qualifications for Accounting Business Manager include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years of age
- Strong work ethic
- Background in Accounting or Business Administration or proven experience as manager
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
- Outstanding communication, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy skills; QuickBooks, Advisor, Word, Excel etc.
- High attention to detail with the ability to direct and supervise employees
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the organization
- Be comfortable with a flexible working schedule to meet the needs of the Agency and it’s owners
- Ability to pass BCII or FBI background check
- Ability to pass abuser registry and nurse aide registry
- A safe and acceptable vehicle with CFI provided vehicle safety check
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record as defined by company with MVR check provided by CFI
- Vehicle insurance with proof of insurance
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit and walk for periods of time
