Chief Financial Officer
Cheyenne Village, Inc., a local 501(c) (3), the largest and oldest provider of residential services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Colorado Springs is seeking qualified applicants for a CFO/Business Director. The CFO/Business Director is responsible for managing all business and financial aspects of Cheyenne Village, Inc. These functions include financial and accounting administration; tax and regulatory compliance; commercial risk management programs; investments and property management; 401(K) administration and tax compliance; management of all financial and compliance audits; budget design and financial forecasts and analysis; accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and purchasing. Oversees Medicaid HCBS waiver billing, client personal needs trust accounts, client benefit programs including the Social Security, Medicaid and HUD Voucher programs. Financial liaison to the Board of Directors, and Finance Committee and a member of the Leadership Team. Supervises a department of five employees. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Five years progressive experience in accounting and three years in a management/supervisory position including business management i.e. contracts, insurance, investments, budgets, etc. Employment experience in nonprofit sector preferred. CPA preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Maintains acceptable criminal background and Department of Motor Vehicle checks. Maintain valid US driver's license. Salary depends on experience. Full time plus benefits.
