Assistant Coach
Cloud9 Esports Inc. Assistant Coach Cloud9 Esports Inc. seeks an Assistant Coach for pro League of Legends team to work from our headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Support the Head Coach in training and coaching professional League of Legends team and players. Demonstrate techniques, strategies and methods of gameplay. Evaluate players' strengths and weaknesses, suggest improvements and prepare them for competition. Provide direction, encouragement, motivation, and career advice to prepare athletes for competitive events. Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions. Explain league rules and regulations. Plan and direct individual and team conditioning programs to enable players to achieve maximum performance. Monitor players' use of equipment to ensure safe and proper use. Adjust coaching techniques based on the strengths and weaknesses of each player. Stay abreast of changing rules, techniques, technologies, and other relevant trends. Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of opposing teams to develop winning strategies. Perform activities that support the league and team, such as participating in public relations events. Identify and recruit potential players for both starting and backup roster. Monday-Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday-Sunday 8 hours each day during competitive season. 18 months prior experience required. Must have prior experience coaching a pro LoL team that competed in a World Championship. No training or telecommuting offered. $45,000 - $150,000 per year plus standard corporate benefits.
