Coastal Carolina University Men’s Lacrosse Club Team, an MCLA Division 2 program and member of the Southeastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC), invites applications for the position of Men’s Lacrosse Coach.
This position will develop and maintain a competitive lacrosse program in harmony with MCLA, SELC and university policies and procedures. Actively lead and teach eager student-athletes who wish to increase program successes. Implement an effective training program to prepare athletes both physically and mentally for competition. Establish behavioral objectives for the season. Coordinate focus on student-athlete performance as well as persona and leadership development. The head coach is accountable to the officers of the CCU men’s lacrosse club adherence to club university guidelines outlined by the CCU Student Organization Manual and the Department of University Recreation.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Player development, planning and conducting practices, establishing team roster, productive game management, representing team interests at regional and nation conference meetings, team supervision during travel, providing guidance to the team’s student leadership, and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and Lacrosse experience as a player are required. A successful candidate must be committed to attend all scheduled practices and games, possess ambition and determination to work with a growing team; and possess significant knowledge of all phases of the game.
