Position Description:
Under the direction of the Director, Fiscal Services, performs technical accounting and auditing work in the preparation, maintenance and review of District financial records, accounts and reports and evaluates compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Requires the frequent use of independent judgment in making decisions within established accounting systems and procedures. Assists in ensuring district compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
Equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in responsible accounting and financial record management and reporting. MS Excel proficiency required.
Education:
Education equivalent to an Associate’s degree (60 semester units) is required. Two years direct experience in addition to that identified above may be substituted for each year (30 units) of college.
