Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources the Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) serves as the first point of contact for the department. This position provides support to administration, faculty, and staff on general human resources matters. The HRC handles a broad range of issues that are sensitive, confidential and/or complex in nature.

The HRC performs activities that support of the administration of recruitment and employment, including guidance and assistance to supervisors, applicants and new hires throughout the employment process. This position utilizes many technologies to handle a wide variety of data entry, analysis, financial transactions and documentation for the department.

The HRC needs to be able to use independent judgement within an established set of guidelines. This is a non-exempt (hourly) support position.
