Under the supervision of the Associate Director, the incumbent assists in the management of the office's systems and data. The incumbent also develops solutions to address various data accuracy, data integrity and compliance issues.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop software, procedures and audits that support Financial Aid and Educational Financing. This involves all aspects of software development including but not limited to requirements gathering, development, testing, quality control and documentation.
- Develop and run both regular and ad-hoc reporting requests using various tools (PowerFAIDS, SSMS, SAS, etc).
- Coordinate policies and procedures related to the office's workflow. Documents policies and procedures. This would also include the training of staff with regard to these policies and procedure.
- Manage routine maintenance, data management and processes related to the office's IT systems. These systems include but are not limited to, PowerFAIDS, OnBase, the Student Information System (SIS), the College Board.
- Manage various aspects of the configuration of PowerFAIDS. This includes regular maintenance associated with Parm Roll, updates to letters, documents and settings. This also includes the establishment and use of standard naming conventions.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum two years related experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial aid processing.
- Experience with PowerFAIDS and a Student Information System (SIS) or related system preferred.
- Experience with SAS or SQL Server preferred.
- Experience with software development framework preferred.
