Community Action Council for Lexington-Fayette, Bourbon, Harrison and Nicholas Counties is currently accepting applications for the position of Lead Teacher. The Lead Teacher is responsible for the overall development and implementation of the education program in the classroom to keep the classroom compliant with state licensing requirements, Head Start Performance Standards and NAEYC.
Qualifications: Associate’s in early childhood education or Bachelor’s in a related field or equivalent. Experience in early childhood classroom management, planning curriculum and record keeping is required. Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desired.
Salary: Associate’s degree $14.73 - $16.20 hourly, Bachelor’s degree $16.26 - $17.89 hourly.
