Direct Support Worker

Direct support workers assist people in growing through normalized experiences. He or she provides training, services, and supports to people with intellectual disabilities and completes daily documentation. He or she works closely with individuals and other staff to assure each person receives positive corrective feedback. He or she will keep or assist in keeping the home/worksite clean, neat, and in good repair. Direct support workers must be able to pass a background & drug screening, have a valid driver's license, and have graduated high school or obtained a GED.
