Projects
- Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) Program - a multi-year roadmap plan to implement new data capabilities through prioritized business focused projects and enterprise data governance.
- Project Manager for all active and pending EBI projects.
- Resource Manager and/or Project Manager for strategic county project initiatives that require data integration, data conversion, data analytics, reporting, or data visualization tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field from an accredited university or college (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of eight years' experience in data focused roles.
- Minimum of two years' management or technical lead experience.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI, and Azure cloud services.
Skills & Knowledge
- Advanced skills in database query language, transactional database design, and multi-dimensional database modeling for analytics.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated skill in data automation, data integration, and data conversion using API interfaces and ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) processes.
- Advanced skill with data analytics, reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Learned skill and knowledge in at least one of the following: Cloud data services, Big data solutions, NoSQL databases, streaming analytics, natural language processes, or predictive modeling.
- Advanced knowledge and applied practice with the systems development lifecycle and project management practices. Understanding of agile approaches preferred.
- Excellent communication, team building, and interpersonal skills.
Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent criminal background check. Must maintain personal mobile technology as a condition of employment.
