DeKalb Medical is hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) for Long Term Acute Care (LTAC)near Atlanta.
The full time Registered Nurse job in our LTAC follows the directed nursing process to evaluate, direct and deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a safe and proficient manner according to individual patient needs. The Registered Nurse also assesses patient health problems and needs, develops and implements nursing care plans, and maintains medical records.
The Registered Nurse provides care based on the physical, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patients. This person will perform delegated duties consistent with the scope and functions within the plan of care at Dekalb Medical. The right candidate for the RN job should demonstrate good organizational skills, displays appropriate judgement and problem solving skills.
We are also excited to announce that we recently increased our Registered Nurse pay to be commiserate with local market cost of living demands.
Registered Nurse LTAC Minimum Education, Experience and Licensure Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Critical Care experience is preferred
- Current GA Licensure as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Additional certifications may be required
- Two years of Registered Nurse experience is preferred
