The Clinical Research Coordinator performs a variety of duties involved in the implementation of research protocol and monitors participants screening procedures and adherence to protocol. Collects, compiles, documents, and transports for participants and analysis of clinical and genetic research data from participants enrolled in the Genetic Studies in the Amish.
This position will be responsible for obtaining the relevant family, clinical, demographic, and risk factor information on the Amish patients and collecting biological samples. Maintains logs/progress reports to track both currently enrolled as well as follow-up patients/participants. Maintains accountability records for study. Establishes and maintains contact with health care providers, community agencies, and study sponsors.
This position is to be based near the Nappanee Region of Indiana. Successful applicants must reside in this area and be familiar with the local communities. BS or BA with experience in a health related field. At least three (3) years of experience and familiarity with various clinical and genetic data collection and data entry procedures required.
