Customer Service Rep (Norman)
CSR Front Desk is responsible for welcoming patients to McBride when entering the facility. Initiates the registration process for services and update patient data. Capture patient signatures on all appropriate forms. Act as a liaison for patients to and from the departments and locations. CSR POD assists patients with checking in and out for Physician office visits. Determine patient financial responsibility, request, accept and post payments for the office visit. Assist patients with scheduling appointment for follow up visit. Track encounter forms to ensure capture of charges and enter all charges for the visit. CSR Appointments is responsible for scheduling patient appointments in the scheduling system. Communicate with patients, insurance companies and other physician offices during the scheduling process. Resolves problems related to this process.
High School diploma and two years related experience and/or training. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and policy/procedure manuals. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office and other database systems.
High School diploma and two years related medical office experience, with knowledge of medical coding preferred.
