Responsibilities: Utilize knowledge and experience to direct Optimus's security functions, including physical safety of employees, patients and facilities: specific duties include conducting security assessments; maintaining safe and secure environment; drafting and enforcing security plans, policies, and procedures; supervising security guard force; advising Chief of Operations on security matters; coordinating efforts with internal and external partners to maintain corporate physical security standards; preventing losses and damages by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; implementing evacuation instructions; and assisting with screening, training, assigning, and evaluating personnel for department.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in management, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in job offered or in security management. Prior experience must include 3 years of experience supporting, cooperating with, and implementing specific safety procedures and programs. Valid Connecticut Driver's License and Connecticut Guard Card required.
