Mental Health Crisis Response Worker
PermiaCare is looking to employ a full-time Crisis Response Worker to serve Odessa, TX. Ideal applicants should display good writing skills, have good interpersonal skills, and be detail-oriented. This position is responsible for providing crisis services to chronically mentally ill adults and children in Ector County in response to calls from Law Enforcement, Mental Health Deputies, Emergency Rooms, and the PermiaCare Crisis Hotline. The work schedule provides for five nights of on-call work followed by five days off, and the chosen applicant will office primarily from their home.
A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or similarly related field is required. All Full-Time positions have a full benefits package consisting of excellent health coverage, retirement, life insurance, scheduled pay increases, optional cafeteria coverage and paid leave up to 28 days per year. All applicants must have a valid Texas Driver's License, proof of auto liability insurance coverage, and will be subject to a criminal history background check.
