We currently have an exceptional opportunity to join the Radia team as a Business Development Specialist in the Spokane, WA area and also covers Idaho and other locations in Eastern Washington. The purpose of the Business Development Specialist is to pursue new business opportunities, growth, and expansion of existing business, help increase referrals to local sites and maintain referring provider and partner site relationships to ensure clients' needs are met by Radia. This position works with management to understand and meet the needs of each site and each local healthcare market represented by this position. Responsibilities Building Referring Provider Relationships: Engages in dialogue with referring providers and staff to understand their needs and match those needs to Radia and our partner sites' service offerings. Skilled at questioning, reflecting and clarifying. Teaming with Local Imaging Teams: Takes specific actions to build relationships with customer, management, and staff. Keeps marketing and medical directors informed of marketing activities and solicits input. Learns and maintains knowledge of key exams and procedures performed at the assigned sites. Site Visits: Works with the Director of Marketing and local site(s) leadership to develop a fluid plan for site visits based on day-to-day priorities to identify referral opportunities and service issues. Gives feedback to local site management and leadership on service issues and collaborates on solutions. Market Knowledge: Develops thorough understanding of the market for each site within the assigned territory. Analyzes competition to identify selling points and potential weaknesses. Submits regular analyses of defined market to Director of Marketing. Building Corporate Relationships: Engages in dialogue with site Medical Directors and Diagnostic Imaging leadership teams to understand their needs and works with Director of Marketing and Business Development to ensure Radia is meeting all those needs. Rounds on assigned partners on a routinely scheduled basis and reports back to Director of Marketing and COO regarding any issues and feedback. Education and Experience Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing or outside sales involving building lasting relationships with customers in the health care industry. Education: B. A. in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field is preferred.
