The Finance Director position is a full time position that provides leadership and direction for all administrative financial units of the organization to include Accounting, Finance, Reimbursement, Contracts, Claims Processing, Accounts Payable and Payroll. The position coordinates all financial audits, ensures compliance with billing regulations, prepares/monitors/maintains the Center’s annual budget, and develops mechanisms and procedures to encumber service authorizations in the financial records (including tracking of IBNR claims). It performs independently under the supervision of the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and serves as liaison to the Finance Committee of the Center’s Board of Directors. It collaborates with the CBO, Deputy Director/COO and CEO in the development of financial proposals and recommendations to the Board of Directors and works closely with the Facilities Maintenance Manager to resolve miscellaneous general maintenance issues that may surface.
Requires graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, public administration, or hospital administration and 7 years of increasingly responsible administrative management experience involving planning and management of a business or governmental program.
Prefer solid financial management background with experience directing financial operations in a capitated managed care or healthcare environment. CPA certification a plus.
