Responsible for integration and deployment of Nielsen online video/audio content and advertising measurement solutions into client technology platforms: Support technical pre-sales activity by providing technical consulting on Nielsen online video/audio measurement products to clients, internal stakeholders, and participants at industry events and conventions. Independently lead and support client platform integrations for our SDK (software development kit), Cloud API (application programming interface) or server-to- server implementations from technical kickoff to post-production, including planning and supporting execution of acceptance testing and implementation of new software, and resolution of technical issues. Write technical support documentation for use by clients and internal stakeholders. Gather and analyze client requests for product enhancements from clients and internal stakeholders. Propose conceptual solutions and recommend alterations and enhancements to improve quality of products and integration procedures. Research and facilitate the adoption of new technologies into the Nielsen product set, and contribute to innovation and creation of intellectual property with Nielsen product leadership and engineering. Provide project and account updates to internal stakeholders across the assigned book of business. Train and mentor team members on technical and business knowledge. Involves domestic travel, 6 to 12 times/year for up to 5 days/trip. Tools used: SQL, JavaScript, JS Libraries, XSS, CORS, JSONP, AJAX, Flash, Objective-C, Swift, UIWebView, JNI, C++, iOS and Android operating systems.




Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field with an information technology focus (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) plus 3 years of experience in software development and/or digital product management related to online video content and advertising measurement (would accept 1 year of experience in software development and/or digital solutions engineering in lieu of each year of bachelor’s degree-level education lacking).

* This must include:

o 1 year of experience in:

* a client-facing role collaborating with 3rd-party software developers;

o Any level of experience in and/or knowledge of:

* SDK integration for video player applications and server-side APIs deployed in a Cloud environment;

* relational databases (SQL);

* JavaScript;

* authoring and maintaining extendible JS Libraries;


* Flash;

* Objective-C and Swift;

* programming with UIWebView;

* JNI and C++ development;

* iOS and Android application life-cycle (including AV Foundation Framework and Media Player Framework, Android Media Player Framework, and Google SDK);

* presenting technology topics to non-technical audiences; and

* multi-tasking and prioritizing across at least 5 active clients.

* Must be willing to travel domestically, 6 to 12 times/year for up to 5 days/trip.
