Talent Development Manager
SmithBucklin, a 100 percent employee-owned association management company, is looking for a dynamic Talent Development Manager to join our Human Resources team in Chicago. With a commitment to providing enhanced professional development opportunities to our internal talent, this exciting new role will team up with the Talent Development Director in implementing our development strategy and will collaborate closely with the HR team to ensure synergy and alignment. What You Will Do
- Manage our Learning Center and facilitate a wide variety of employee development learning programs
- Manage the performance processes, employee engagement and other key HR initiatives
- Manage new executive onboarding, 360 assessment processes and reporting
- Support the evolution and improvement of our existing curriculum in partnership with the team
- Lead learning and development projects from assessment through design and implementation

Your professional journey looks like this…
- You have a BA or BS degree
- You have 8+ years of progressive learning and development and/or HR experience (with heavy focus on L&D), plus 2+ years in management
- You have experience leading learning and development projects
- You have instructional design and group facilitation experience
- You have strong facilitation experience
- You have strong project management experience
