Direct Care Positions

The Arc of Washington County

We need  Full-Time and Part-Time direct care positions available. Work hours are primarily afternoons into evenings, or overnights, and weekends. These are entry level positions – no experience required, with starting pay at $12.00 per hour! This is the first step in a career for those who have a passion for supporting children or
adults with a wide range of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

With each individual, we strive to help them achieve success on their terms while encouraging new interests and maximizing opportunities along the way. We work closely with everyone who receives our services to create highly personalized programs that complement individual needs and preferences. We are a private, non-profit local chapter of The Arc of Maryland and The Arc of The United States, the largest volunteer organization in the world devoted exclusively to improving the quality of life for all persons with developmental disabilities.
