Job Duties:

Responsible for managing fan engagement on new and existing fan platforms and be a key player in building awareness and recruitment to these platforms. Work directly with a growing team that is focused on Twentieth Century Fox's key franchises, including Alien, Predator, Planet of the Apes, Kingsman and other animated titles. Specific duties include: 1) Act as a key contributor in defining and maintaining the community management strategy, including engagement methods, moderation policies, content building and outreach initiatives especially focused on growing fan base and increasing engagement. 2) Create and manage content to engage communities for each franchise. 3) Manage content calendar for fan engagement across franchises. 4) Develop community guidelines. 5) Curate, amplify and repost positive media, partner content, and UGC. 6) Manage interactions with users in multiple communities spanning the entire IP list. 7) Ensure a consistent tone, persona and visual look and feel is maintained across all interaction channels. 8) Escalate any fan concerns to relevant divisions. 9) Ensure all fan engagements deliver on budget, on strategy and on time. 10) Set goals for, track and report on community-related metrics ensuring upwards visibility as well as help inform on metrics’ significance. 11) Leverage data to optimize fan engagement and identify new opportunities for engagement. 12) Work closely with Brand Strategy to support direction of fan engagement. 13) Collaborate across the Studio with partners in Theatrical Marketing, Home Entertainment, Consumer Products, Mobile, VR, Gaming, Productions, TV, IT, etc. 14) Work with external vendors/agencies, where applicable, and internal community manager, on content creation and community management. 15) Build brand awareness through community by identifying market trends. 16) Keep up to date on the pulse of technology and innovation. 17) Constructively leverage the latest technologies to meet strategic goals. Oversee 3 lower-level subordinates consisting of Interns.

Minimum requirements:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in any field, plus three (3) years of fan engagement management or related online community management experience in the entertainment industry, including experience building and moderating online communities and customer service; and working with influencers and superfans. Experience must include one (1) year experience in acquisition strategy, including paid social campaigns to grow online audiences and increase brand awareness. *Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Knowledge with social media platforms, tools, best-practices; 2) Knowledge of online fan destinations, community platforms, systems and software; 3) Knowledge of content creation tools, and photo and video editing tools such as Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere; 4) New media/technologies including NFC and AR campaigns for fan engagement tactics; 5) Promoting film titles to global audiences; and 6) Knowledge of CMS and CRM platforms such as WordPress, Brightcove and MailChimp
