University Auxiliary Services at Albany, Inc. (UAS) http://www.albany.edu/uas is seeking a full time Administrative Associate for our Finance and Business Office. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to data entry (accounts payable/accounts receivable/billing/payroll/ dashboards), auditing and coding cash receipts and disbursements, report creation/distribution, filing, answering telephones and responding to email, complaint resolution, updating procedural/training documents, and general office tasks.

Candidates must have at least an Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field, and a minimum of two years’ relevant experience. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Candidates must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Preferred qualifications include bachelor’s degree, notary public and/or experiences in: payroll and benefit processing, accounting software especially Sage 100, inventory management, and direct customer service.

The applicant must be able to work individually and as a member of a team, possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills, have the ability to interact with a diverse population, and be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
