Job Summary:
This position manages and supports the project related work for Talent Acquisition and critical recruitment needs. Position responsibilities include project management, executing strategic initiatives and system components/application management. The Talent Strategy Project Manager is responsible for assigned projects related to talent acquisition activities which includes Student, Staff, and Faculty employment processes. This position serves as a university wide liaison for Talent Acquisition and manages projects with partners throughout the university.
Essential Functions
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment cycle process for specifically assigned open positions, to include sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, interviewing candidates, and conducting reference checks
- Collaborate with HR Partners during assigned searches
Project Management
- Coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope
- Oversee all aspects of projects
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project
- Prepare and present reports regarding project status
- Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for execution of projects
- Refine project elements for consistent application university wide
Project Administration (operational and tactical support/administration)
- Plan, monitor and review defined projects including, but not limited to:
- Talent Acquisition Media/Marketing – LinkedIn, Social Media strategy
- Website design/re-design
- Supervisor/Manager Training – content development and course execution
- Talent Acquisition Policy - review and maintenance
- Collaborate with various departments to participate in employment initiatives
- Provide guidance/expertise on concerns related to Talent Acquisition and Student Employment projects/processes in accordance with federal and state employment law ensuring fair employment practices
- Diversity Recruitment and Retention Initiatives
Student Employment
- Collaborate with Student Employment based on program and business needs

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience to include project management and execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Talent Acquisition
- Experience working in Higher Education setting
- Proficiency utilizing a variety of complex processes and systems such as: Banner, MurphyOnline, a background screen vendor (Orange Tree), Talent Management System (iCIMS), and Workforce Timekeeping System.
