Associate Director for Student Financial Services
The University of Vermont is seeking a student finance professional to serve as the next Associate Director for Student Financial Services. Lead the staff of Student Financial Services in providing effective quality customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions with students and families. Plan and oversee the day to day administration of financial aid activities. Ensure that staff are highly trained and qualified in student finance policies and procedures. Lead the team in carrying out accounts receivables activities. Work collaboratively with the Director and the department's leadership team. Actively foster a collaborative environment of respect, integrity, innovation, candor, and accountability. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining service delivery practices that support a broadly diverse community.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field and six to eight years of related financial aid experience required. Demonstrated commitment to effective customer service required. Effective leadership and supervisory experience required. Effective communication and presentation skills and organizational capabilities required. Experience with Banner student information system is desirable.
