Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time, day shift, MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER. The Social Worker provides direct social work services for patients in the inpatient medical and surgical units of the medical center and/or participates in health sciences research; and/or participates in health sciences teaching activities, and exercises independent decision-making authority and expertise specific to assigned area of practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIREMENTS:
A Master of Social Work Degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
AND
One year of full-time social work experience in a health care setting
OR
Equivalent education/experience. Experience can include a practicum placement as part of a social work training program and/or employment experience
