The Harborview Injury Prevention & Research Center (HIPRC) is a multidisciplinary research center with a mission to reduce the impact of injury and violence on people’s lives through research, education, training and public awareness. HIPRC works to translate injury prevention science into real-world, community-based, implementation strategies that improve outcomes for individuals and communities.
The Department of Pediatrics and HIPRC currently have an outstanding opportunity for a RESEARCH COORDINATOR. The purpose of this position is to provide overall project coordination for a research project regarding concussion and young drivers.
This position will independently manage the day to day research study, including internal and external communications, data management, recruiting and consenting subjects, track subject participation, and scheduling team meetings. This position will work directly with faculty investigators and scientific collaborators to achieve the project aims. This position provides high-level professional program and project support under the direct supervision of the project PI.
The successful research coordinator requires strong collaboration and communication skills to coordinate subject recruitment and data collection, and to facilitate organization of the study team.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except where there are legal requirements such as license/certification/registration.
