Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time, day shift, MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER. The individual in this position will support Ambulatory Care and Persons at High Risk (PAHR).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively participate in the development of yearly performance goals and implementation plan

REQUIREMENTS:
A Master of Social Work Degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
AND
One year of full-time social work experience in a health care setting
OR
Equivalent education/experience. Experience can include a practicum placement as part of a social work training program and/or employment experience
LEGAL REQUIREMENT:
Within 90 days of hire must hold one of the following credentials issued by the state of Washington
Agency Affiliated Counselor
Licensed Social Work Associate -Advanced
Licensed Social Work Associate - Independent Clinical
Licensed Advance Social Worker
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
DESIRED:
Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred.
Bilingual case managers must demonstrate English/other language proficiency via formal language evaluation (ALTA, DSHS language certification, or equivalent as determined by the department)
