Director Customer Finance
Director – Customer Finance (DCF) conducts cost optimization for clients’ wireless accounts on a monthly basis including analysis of international and domestic usage. DCF conducts forecasting and breakeven point models, proprietary analytical software as well as expert industry consulting. Rate Plan Analysis’ are delivered monthly and discussed on client calls in order to drive informative value as well as constructive changes based on the recommendations provided.
DCF conducts invoice allocation each month to each customer where he uses a mix of vendor data and company inventory data to accurately allocate charges to different entities within our client’s organization.
DCF develops monthly presentations that highlight the cost savings and successes our clients realize from engaging in our service. These reports are typically circulated to the primary stakeholders in the relationship.
DCF is also responsible for invoicing clients for services rendered. Other services provided other than billing management/optimization are IT (A customized “Wireless Portal” is provided to the bulk of our customers) and Help Desk (support team for wireless device issues among our clients).
DCF conducts strategic sourcing, essentially survey, and analysis of where clients can attain the best rates for wireless billing accounts. DCF helps to determine a suitable vendor(s) and then also provide benchmark numbers to help in negotiations.
DCF must ensure the management of the entire department’s attendance, punctuality, and professionalism. DCF conducts monthly check-ins with each analyst to discuss all things job related or any concerns they have. DCF undertakes performance coaching which will vary greatly depending on the experience of the team at a given time and the complexities surrounding the constant changes in the industry and the need to adapt.
DCF must also carry out a monthly analysis on aging, outstanding balances from clients and drive initial communication and follow up to ensure the company is paid in a timely manner. Additionally, DCF is involved in the bill pay process from approval of payment to ensuring that every bill is paid in a timely manner each month.
DCF is responsible for hiring new analysts to the team. Co-CEOs are involved in the interview process and decision making, but DCF is accountable for resume analysis and determining suitable candidates for the interview process. DCF is also the primary resource involved in onboarding new team members.
