Assistant Professor (Teaching) of Land Use Policy and Law
The University of Southern California's Price School of Public Policy invites nominations and applications for an Assistant Professor (Teaching). We seek candidates who have demonstrated excellence and effectiveness in the practice of real estate, in particular in the area of land use law and regulation. The expected teaching load will be six classes per year over two semesters. Real estate teaching faculty will teach undergraduate level real estate courses with content focused on land use regulation. In addition, the faculty will teach graduate level courses in land use law and the political approval process. Successful candidates should possess an advanced degree in a related field (such as MBA, MRED, JD, or PhD). Candidate must also have significant professional experience in real estate law and urban planning. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations.
