Washington State University (WSU) is embarking on an exciting Modernization Initiative to implement Workday enterprise software for human resources, payroll, and finance. Human Resources (HR) Time, Leave & Absence Business Analysts analyze, optimize and implement process improvement initiatives of Workday enterprise software. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, organized, detail-orientated, with project management experience and general HR knowledge.
The Time, Leave & Absence Business Analyst should have working knowledge of leave programs including paid time off, Family Medical Leave, workers’ compensation, reasonable accommodation, shared leave, and/or long-term disability claims programs.
The successful candidate will:
- Develop knowledge of WSU’s existing policies and procedures in time reporting, leave and absence programs
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend solutions for Workday implementation
Organizational Relationships: Partners closely with broader HR and Finance work stream team members in a cross-functional and collaborative work environment. Works with University stakeholder groups as a lead or participant in workgroups. Routinely engages with end users on a variety of topics.
The Modernization Initiative is an evolving project where all team members are expected to be hands on in the day-to-day activities. All team members are expected to tolerate high levels of change, juggle competing priorities, request and accept, work assignments from a variety of individuals.
