Winona State University invites applications for the position of Counseling Services Psychologist II.
This position is 30 hours/week during the academic year and no hours during summer, winter and spring break. The hours are primarily 8:00am-4:30pm with occasional hours until 7:00pm. This position will receive full employer insurance contributions during the academic year and 50% employer insurance contributions during the summer months. The individual in this position will provide professional Counseling/psychological services to students at Winona State University and Minnesota State College Southeast. This will include, but is not limited to, individual and group therapy, case consultation, crisis/triage, supervision as appropriate, assessments, and collaboration with other direct care staff.
Minimum qualifications for this position include (1) possessing a master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, or social work; and (2) licensed to practice in Minnesota as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by date of hire. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to be credentialed by numerous health insurance carriers should billing for services be implemented.
