YMCA in Chicago, IL has multiple openings for Senior Business Intelligence Developer(s), as part of the IT team, deliver complete business intelligence and data management solutions to stakeholders and end-users.
Days/Hours: Monday – Friday / 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Summary of Duties:
- Part of the IT team, responsible for delivering complete business intelligence and data management solutions to stakeholders and end-users.
- Will architect, design, build and maintain stable and scalable solutions to support reporting, visualizations, and analysis and plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of reporting and visualization tools within the organization.
- Maintain a continuous and comprehensive understanding of relevant technologies in order to make recommendations to support business needs.
- Work with little supervision but will also work with end-users and IT staff to design, build, and support solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Management Information System (MIS) or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Applicants must also have the following experience:
5 years with:
- Developing business intelligence solutions.
- Architecting data warehouses, data acquisition processes, and data structures to support reporting and analysis.
- Writing and tuning T-SQL.
- Designing and developing ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services or similar enterprise ETL tools.
- Designing and developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services or similar enterprise reporting tools.
Demonstrated experience with:
- Designing and developing multi-dimensional and tabular databases such as Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
- Translating business requirements and desired outcomes into solution designs, processes, and procedures
- Communicating technical options and recommendations to stakeholders
- Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Visio)
